This is what ISO 9001 stands for
The ISO 9001 standard is the most widespread and important standard in quality management (QM), both nationally and internationally. The certificate proves that the internal processes in a company comply with the international standard for quality management. Companies claiming to do so benefit from this standardized norm in that the susceptibility of processes to errors is minimized, the quality of products and services is improved, therefore guaranteeing their customers the highest quality.
This is what EN 9100 stands for
The EN 9100 ff series of standards was developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) on the basis of ISO 9001. It is applied worldwide by all leading companies in the aerospace industry as a quality standard for their suppliers. EN 9100 is identical in content to the American standard AS 9100 and the Asian standard JISQ 9100. The aim of this international standard is to ensure the highest level of efficiency and reliability for processes within the supply chain, thereby preventing risks. Therefore, the series of standards not only includes a set of rules for the areas of design, development, production, assembly and maintenance (EN 9100), but also for maintenance organizations (EN 9110) as well as for dealers and stockists (EN 9120).
